History

SIEL was born under the aegis of Enrico Pensini, founder and current President, with the aim of designing and producing UPS devices.

The headquarters are based in Trezzano Rosa, Milan.

Siel Energy System, UK, is born, the first company to deal with the distribution and maintenance of Siel UPS in the Anglo-Saxon territory and market. The following years saw the development of the high power UPS range, with the introduction of the
microprocessor control, and a new direction to add among the targets: the telecommunications market.

SIEL's seriousness and reliability allowed the company to obtain ISO 1995 - quality management system certification in 9001.

The years of great development and productivity led it to collaborate with Malpensa 1997 in 2000, where all products are equipped with innovative IGBT power semiconductors.

In 1999, SIEL achieved leadership with single units up to 1000 kVA and acquired SIAC, a manufacturer of direct current elements.

Continuing its commitment to the creation of renewable energy, in 2006 SIEL founded together with other partners Assosolare, a national association representing the solar photovoltaic industry, which then merged in 2013 with Aper into the large reality of Assorinnovabili.

SIEL creates the Wind Wave line, a new range of inverters that allow the company to enter the world of wind energy production.

SIEL's widespread work and its special assistance recognize the great achievement of 100 MW of power installed throughout the world.

Installed 60 MW of modular UPS with LiFePO4 batteries in data center application for the world's leading Cloud operator.

SIEL obtains ISO27001 certification, in addition to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001; it also adopts a corporate ESG.
